    Kyocera KM 8030

    Greetngs,

I have a client informing they cannot log in as admin on the web interface to add/edit and delete users.

I dont do alot of the connectivity,( enough to be dangerous you could say) mostley im doing PMs ect.. but this was thrown at me to take care of.

from what i gathered they are able to enter IP and log on to web (print) interface and see the copier, but they say there is no place to add users or log in as an admin.

anybody that could help me with this would be greatly appriciated.

thank you and have a great day.

Enable compatability mode in IE. And the 8030 has a seperate ip address for the scanner. That is where the address book will be found.

These machines do not have a default login like newer models. You can set up an admin login, but the default is with no password. Full functionality is available right from the first webpage.

Like copymech says, the scanner functions and addressbook are on a separate network interface, separate IP. There should be two network cables if scanning and printing are both functioning.

If you find that some of the scan card webpages do not open or do not interact well with Firefox, you may need to upgrade the NS-30 scan card firmware to at least version 1.4.11

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
