    Noise on paper lift

    Hi

Got a 520i, with a large capacity tray underneath it. The lift is banging as it gets to the top, and has taken out the lift motors. Kyocera sent us the whole new in sides of the p/tray, but it's still doing it, and has taken out another pair of motors.

    Any ideas?

Shim down the top brackets on the lct. This is hard to explain. There is nothing wrong with the lift motors, take the machine off of the lct and you will see the top brackets on the lct are bent up. bend them back down with your hand, put the machine back on the lct, then shim the gap. This is a common problem.
