I just installed this machine on Thursday and now 5 days later the fax is gone. It does not show up in the Command Center or on the machine send window, even in when you print the config page it is missing. There are no messages. Any ideas, Thanks.

Try service mode 600. This will register the fax to the copier.
It was working for 4-5 days then it disappeared. I will be going back tomorrow and try Sim 600. Thanks!
if the machine doesn't see the fax unit you wont be able to do a 600 ,do a 906 first .
If none of those things work for you, power Off, remove the fax, re-load firmware, power Off, install fax, then re-load firmware again.
If your fax is still showing absent, you'll need a new fax card. I've had a few outright die on the Falcon III series. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I removed the fax and tested it in another CS300i and it worked and obviously was seen.
I will be looking at the firmware first to confirm revisions are correct and up to date then I will check the connection where the fax card slides into a relay/transfer box it actually slides into and and at the mother board level as well. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks to all that have responded.
U600 is to initalize all fax data, if the fax card is recognized. I am a little suprised that there were no error messages.
