    kyocera fs8520

    hai friends we sold fs8520 kyocera mfp that machine toner consumption is very high. what is that working cost of that mfp? at 10% coverage? that customer is not satisfied.with this mfp what we can do? any suggestion?

    At least upgrade the firmware. Set the machine and the printer driver to black and white. You can also enable toner-saving, but that affects the print quality.

    this is not good for this machine it's a lose of business and no one use color print taking in 5% coverage. this machine 20 line word document print taking as 15% coverage what can we do? this is not worth for corporate segments also.

    5% is an average percentage. The coverage will often be higher. You must ask the customer what kind of documents they're going to print, BEFORE you set the price per copy. I have a customer that prints newspapers. The coverage is very high, so we adjust the price per copy so that we can make a profit out of it. If we use the 5% coverage on this customer, we would lose money...
