    light area across copy

Got a kyocera 2050 with a light area across copies when using ADF and a dark area in the same area when using the exposure glass. Yet printing to the copier is fine. Replaced so far exposure lamp and CCD. Any ideas out there?

This is a very simple fix. CLEAN YOUR OPTICS AND UPPER FUSER ROLLER. I know you already cleaned the mirrors right? Clean them again. Hard to see the film on them but they are coated a little bit . Most of the time in the middle. Burning plastic fumes from the fuser area comes up into the optics area. Turn down your fuser temp about 10 deagrees also.
