KM TA 250Ci with C6030 Thermal fuse Open

Our Clients Fuser had a jam that got on the belt and under the Thermistor. It caused a C6030 code and took out the thermal device that goes through the middle of the Heat belt. I get an Open when going front to rear on the white Lamp connector. Ideas other than R+R unit ( I am installing a Loaner unit ) as there is no brake down. Anybody figure a fix for this yet? In the old days we could put the thermal ( clicks off ) device in the freezer to reset, hasa anyone tried this?
    Thanks

It's wax. It doesn't work. You're best hope is to scavenge the part you need from a recovered unit damaged in some other way. They are definitely not the easiest fuser to work on, but manageable. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
