Mita DC-5686

I have a machine that ejects the originals out of the document feeder about 5 times faster then normal. I tried the RADF main board and that didn\'t work. does anyone have a clue for me and this 15 year old workhorse.

I think your talking about a 5685. I haven\'t worked on one for a long time but I remember a problem in the wiring harness to the RADF causing a similar issue.

Re:Mita DC-5686

Start taking off covers and look for a pinched wire touching a frame. Good luck...

Re:Mita DC-5685

it was something in the wiring harness, I reseated both ends of the wiring harness and cleaned up the contacts on the in-line fuse holder. I don\'t know what was screwed up but it\'s working now.

Thanks for everyones help.
