    5501i Error code C6030

After replacing the fuser unit because of c6610 (fuser release sensor error) code, I first got a C6930 (fuser rear fan motor error). Now I am getting C6030 (broken fuser thermistor 1 wire). I checked the new fuser in another machine (and tried another), I replaced the harness going from the fuser to the ENG PWB (YC26) and the engine PWB. I've reflashed Firmware and reset U163 constantly. Still no dice. (The 5501 does NOT have a fan\filter next to the main power switch/IH PWB) HELP!

Check this bulletin: 2LH-007.pdf It's for 5500i, but it might help you.

    Re: 5501i Error code C6030

FIXED!!!! I replaced Main PWB, Feed PWB and Heater PWB without any success. Finally tried the second fuser unit again and a new engine PWB and it works. Go figure. Before I actually replaced the fuser and Engine PWB I had done a multitude of voltage and continuity etc. tests and was getting weird results. Thats when I went back to square one and tried the other fuser and a second new Engine PWB.
