    Question FS-C2126 Slow printing/copying?

When making copies or prints(IE: 10 - 20 pages), the machine pauses between 3 or 4 sheets for a few seconds and the "processing" light blinks.. I know this is a 20ppm machines but that seems unusually slow. Anyone see this before? Firmware has been updated and a Factory Default mode has been done.

I'm thinking of a HDD format, but cannot find anything about the HDD other than a mention about backing up data in MM when replacing. No mention how to replace the HDD and what to do when replacing it??

Hmm... But I'm not getting why there was mention of it at all in service manual. I'm also thinking the mfp may not have enough memory, the specs seem pretty gimpy.

This has 768 MB of memory, upgradeable to 1792.

What a day.. Got the machine back in the shop.. first, it's absolutely filthy too. Will be going to indeed upgrade the memory. Any one know what type it is? Looks like DDR2 sodimm to me, I'm going to be hunting in the boneyard for some spare chips.
