Rep Power: 3 | Falcon ll Thank to All for c6020 error code solution.I have another problem to face which is black dots appear on copy ,my superior said is caused by drum unit but lifespan is due on 500k. Those blackdots on copy by drum unit about 300k, so i think there is away to settle it rather than change drum unit. Your solution is greatly appreacited. Thankyou (caused by sparkling)

Rep Power: 4 | Leaw, The black dots come from your main charge unit. The customer using the cleaning pad is not letting the grid dry up which causing the drum and the mc unit arc. Yes I agree with the others, change the drum unit.

Rep Power: 7 | in the foil pack that comes with the toner in the box. also has directions with it. intended for customer to use for cleaning main charge grid at time of toner change. afterward, customer needs to let main charge "hang" out of front of copier to airdry. if it doesn't airdry and is still wet, it can arc and cause really small pits to drum.. also, if it's not clean, i believe it's just as bad due to main charge grid being dirty and arcing anyways or causing other copy quality problems as well..
