What do you mean by "can't calibrate magenta"? Sometimes the calibration is so off that I have to enter the same last character many times, 5 to 8, to get any kind of result. But changing the transfer belt should have fixed that. Have you looked at the IDC sensor plate? If that doesn't move to uncover the sensor you could be having problems.

Hi, I would check the Magenta drum unit gears and perhaps the Magenta drum drive gears... Something is loose.... Did someone open the drive gearbox and not put the gears back in their correct place?
Good luck. It would be interesting to know what the solution was.

    Hi Zack.

Thanks for response.Im a Canon tech so far and i need some sugestions here.

I mean magenta is out of range on the left side of the print.(check attachment).
Sensor plate is moving ok and sensors are clean.

I can't correct magenta with registration correction chart because lines are far away.

Ok, in this case you will have to keep entering the same letter or number several times until the chart lines move. Use the last character (either I or 9) that the colored lines have shifted past.

There is a bulletin that addresses the registration problem. Check the reg shutter is working. Replace the transfer belt. Use special firmware to reset the registration.
    Hope that helps !
