Kyocera TaskAlfa 420i operation panel background image change/remove?

Searched for hours and still no luck. Most instructions refer to "Command Center RX" which this machine (apparently) does not have.

Anyway, I am trying to refurb this machine but cannot find where to remove the previous service company's splash screen on the op panel when the power button is pressed. I'd like to do it without initializing the entire machine since it's already calibrated [or do I not have a choice?][...and for that matter, how did it get there in the first place?]
