    7550ci Black blotches

    Suggestions please...

Customer has a 7550ci, getting series of black oval/blotches randomly (not every page) at trail end only, 11x17 100lb Text paper, duplexed (mostly only on first page printed, occasionally on second side)

Have changed black charge roller, secondary transfer roller (improved issue but not resolved), replaced complete vertical path (pull out door) all to no resolution... have not seen this on 11x8 1/2 paper at all7550.pdf

What do the fuser inlet guides look like? Perhaps the curl of the paper is dragging the unfused image across the fuser inlet guide.

I agree that it looks a little like a charge problem, but I don't think it is. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There's a bulletin on it from February 2015. called 2LC-0108 (D024) "Measure against the Vertical Black Streak". Apply that for 7550ci and you should be ok. Also, make sure you have the latest firmware on it.
