Have you loaded adobe reader and tested?
Edge browser is a HORRIBLE PDF handler. Chrome can be quirky as well when it comes to PDF's. If everything ELSE is working fine, the problem isn't with the copier...it's with Edge.
I usually suggest to customers to use Adobe, or Foxit...it some other standalone PDF handler.
...I see similar issues on Mac's using "Preview" as their PDF handler.
Are you printing from web HTLM pages as XPS/PDF format?
Sounds like the same old vector error scaling with PCL.
Try an flatten the vector scaled graphics down to raster printer graphics *.jpg,*.bmp,*.gif.
All it takes is one error scaled font/glyph to blow out the page print size to infinite scale.
Infinite scale will cause the PDF software to slow down as it works out the raster page area to print.
The below example gives a rough idea of what is happening when the vector line or PS/PCL code errors.
This happens with a number of web pages coming off the internet. Some web page authors prevent their web
pages from local printout with deliberate scaled font sets. There are ways to over come those scaled font sets.

I recommended that my enduser download the doc, then open it in Adobe, Foxit, or just about any PDF reader. Then it prints. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Change the default app back to Acrobat Reader. Had one a few weeks ago, 28 page PDF was over 1gb when opened & printed through edge.
