    Kyocera fs3900 printing starts too close to the left edge

    Hello.
    I have a problem with some kyocera fs3900 printers that's been bugging me for the past week.
    Test pages from printer , any print from pc, everything prints too close to the left edge.
    I already try to reinstall firmware, replaced drum unit,dv unit,fuser, laser unit, and also the right board where the laser goes in.
    I have no ideea what to do.

    Anyone can give me any ideea what to do next? i've run out of ideas.
    Anything is much appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Best of luck!

    Have you examined the paper guides in the paper cassette? Is a different paper size hard set for the tray, that does not match the actual paper size? =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    thank you for your reply but i alrady checked all those things...
    What i noticed is that when i change the resolution to 300 everything shifts to right and it's almost ok. but if i change it back to 600 -1200 fine or fast everything moves back to left edge.

    Ill try to change the board with the firmware...the one that is placed below the printer ... maybe there is something wrong with it.
    Thank you again !

    best of luck

    I'm no Kyocera tech by any stretch of the imagination, but I for one would make sure the machine knew the correct paper size and type before I tried to change parts.
    Then again, I can't see that machine like you can, so this is based entirely on the information you chose to share.
    Sorry if it was a waste of time.

    Here is the prescribe command to send to reset the machine to default settings.

    FRPO INIT — FRPO-INITialize
    Format
    FRPO INIT;
    Parameter
    None
    Function
    The FRPO INIT command resets all FRPO parameters to their original, factory default
    values. This reset applies to the interface dependent parameters for the current interface
    as well as all non-interface dependent parameters. For a list of the factory default values,
    see Chapter 6 of the Technical Reference manual. The FRPO INIT command causes a
    page break.
    To activate the changes made with the FRPO INIT command, turn the printer power off
    then on again or reset the printer using the control panel keys.
    File

    !R! FRPO INIT; EXIT;

    well im happy to tell you that this advice did actually lead me to the right solve.
    !R! FRPO L8,31; FRPO L3,0; FRPO L4,48; EXIT;
    this is the right command .
    Not sure why yet, but these values change by themselves after some time. Maybe firmware gets bugged .
    Thank you again.
    Best of luck !
