    Ecosys P6035cdn, yellow smudges

Ecosys P6035cdn, showing yellow smudges as if offsetting part of the image. The Kyocera logo and color bar are vaguely visible in yellow color.

I'm a KonicaMinolta guy with none experience with KyoceraMita

    Question:

    A)
Seems that the yellow drum/developing unit is gone. Would that be normal for a machine with 35k?

    B)
Is there some kind of calibration mode which, for the time being, can compensate for this failure?

    C)
What would be the expected life for drums, transfer belt and fuser?

    Thanks

    Hans

I've had one recently that was solved by cleaning and re-priming the yellow drum blade. This machine was heavily paper dusted. I haven't been back. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
