CS400ci / 300ci DV swap?

I have had no problems at all swapping devs or drums from a 300ci to a 400ci. I personally think you may have your chips mixed up. As the service manual says: failure to detect dev unit and the solution is either to insert dev unit or replace with a correct unit, sort of says it all.
I hope u reach a resolve with this problem as i also know how much of a pain these machines can be.

It was DV from 400ci to 300ci.
I marked the chips.
YMMV.

Went ahead and replaced the DV with a new one.
No problems now.
