Sorry, I missed that it was damaged. At a glance it just seemed dirty.
Since damage is not on the drum I'd suspect the cleaning brush behind the charge roller is probably not turning or has something very small on it that rubbed a groove in the charge roller. Not unusual to see grooves after a lot of clicks (+150k), but I'd just replace the mc-320. In my experience I haven't seen grooves comeback with a new charger roller.

4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
