Ordered a hard drive for this model. Installed it as per instructions (took all of 10 minutes). We assumed it would auto detect but it did not. Machine does not list a HDD. Looked in the 2-6 3-6 modes and didn't see anything about enabling a hard disk. Is there a step I'm missing or is the HDD bad?

We decided to return the HDD. The replacement was indeed auto detected as we thought it should be.
