    lexmark C925 waste container

    customer tried to replace waste container machine says (near life end), install new one and machine still says same message. there's no reset in the config menu for waste container, and I don't see how it realizes a new container, it doesn't plug in anywhere I only see the auger shaft out the back. WHAT AM I MISSING THANKS

    Thank you, I think the message to replace has to be on the screen before it will reset. Near life end means order but don't put it in till is says replace

    EXACTLY. lexmark does things differently and in an unorthodox manner. their message are strange at time and you have to look all over the place to find information. A newbee working on these will have some head scratchers for a while. I think they kind of forces you to navigate the manual, in the way the teardown are described.
