standard register printers P6050

Not sure if anyone has to deal with theses printers but we have a boatload of them. Since they went out of business and Taylor bought them out we have continuous problems with imaging units and toner message saying unresponsive cartridge especially with the micr toner oem and generic!!
especially the P6050 models. Anyone seeing this? or have a better vendor for reliability?

Is the P6050 the MICR toner cartridge or the printer model?

Searching 'standard register p6050' brings me to the MICR toner cartridge (PL6050 actually). That toner cartridge is used in several newer Lexmark printers so I'm guessing the printers you are dealing with are either Lexmark branded or re-branded. There's already a thread on here about the high failure rate of Lexmark imaging units.
