Some nice to have Lexmark info

Someone asked for some Lexmark info a while back...

LaserPrinter 10R/10 Plus, 12 Series, 16 Series, Optra R L

1. Turn the printer off
2. Enter the Diagnostics Mode by holding down the READY and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST
3. Select MAINTENANCE COUNT
4. Select RESET to return the count to zero
5. Press the RETURN button to return to the Diagnostics Mode main menu, then reset printer to return to normal mode

Optra S, 2420/2450/2455/3455

1. Turn the printer off
2. Enter the Diagnostics Mode by holding down the GO and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. When ready, the display will read PRINT REGISTRATION
3. Scroll to PRINTER SETUP and press the SELECT button
4. Scroll to MAINTENANCE PAGE COUNT and press the SELECT button
5. Scroll to RESET MAINTENANCE COUNT and press the SELECT button to reset the count to zero
6. Press the RETURN button to return to the Diagnostics Mode main menu, then exit Diagnostics Mode to return to normal mode

Optra T (all models)

1. Turn the printer off
2. Enter the Configuration Menu by holding down the SELECT and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. After the self test, the display will read CONFIG MENU
3. Press the right arrow side of the MENU button until MAINTENANCE PAGE COUNT is on the display
4. Press the SELECT button. RESET should be displayed
5. Press the SELECT button again to reset
6. Press the RETURN button to return to the Configuration Menu and press the left arrow side of the MENU button to exit the Configuration Menu

Optra W810

1. Enter the Configuration Menu by holding down the SELECT and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. After the self test the display will read CONFIG MENU
2. Press the right arrow side of the MENU button until MAINT. COUNTER is displayed
3. Press the SELECT button, then scroll to RESET TRANSFER or RESET FUSER and press the SELECT button again to reset
4. Press the RETURN button to return to the Configuration Menu and press the left arrow side of the MENU button to exit the Configuration Menu

Optra C710

1. Enter the Configuration Menu by holding down the SELECT and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. After the self test the display will read CONFIG MENU
2. Press the MENU button right or left until RESET FUSER COUNT appears
3. Press the SELECT button to reset the count

Optra C720

1. Enter the Diagnostic Menu for all resets by pressing the GO and RETURN buttons and turn the printer on
2. Continue holding until PERFORMING SELF TEST is displayed
3. Select RESET COUNTERS from the Diagnostic Menu
4. Select the individual counter for reset and press the SELECT button

Optra C750

1. Enter the Configuration Menu by holding down the SELECT and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. After the self test, the display will read CONFIG MENU
2. Select individual reset for fuser or ITU kit

Optra SC 1275/Color 1200

1. Turn the printer off
2. Hold down the GO and RETURN keys while powering on the printer until PERFORMING SELF TEST is displayed
3. When REGISTRATION is displayed, press the right side of the MENU key six times until MAINTENANCE is displayed
4. Press the SELECT button, and then press the right side of the menu button to scroll to 80 or 81 RESET
5. Press the RETURN button until the display reads MAINTENANCE
6. Press the right side of the MENU button until the display reads EXIT DIAGNOSTICS
7. Press the SELECT button to return to the normal mode

x64x MFP

Config/Diagnostics/Maintenance Menu

1. Turn Power Off
2. Hold the 2 and 6 key on the operator panel.
3. Turn Power On.
4. Hold keys until Configuration menu is acheived.

Handy for getting rid of the wiper message.

Online Network Menu

1. While powered on and booted up, press **976

Handy for:
--printing out the history of error conditions
--resetting nvram for network card settings (only resets the active NIC)
