LEXMARKC510
Working on a lexmark c 510 has hash marks on the left side of the page in the same place every page, one of every color. Black and white or color pritn the little "rainbows" show up in the same spot. It shows up on the transfer belt if you stop the printing in mid-print. Printers are not my strong point. I am sure someone out there knows more than me about this. Thanks

ITB?
Ok don't mean to sound dumb but what is itb? Us that different from the regular black transfer belt? I see a green belt inside the machine that has a finish like a drum. Is that also called a transfer belt? Thanks

"itb" is image transfer belt, the green u are seening is the drum units, the transver belt is black, if ur copy quality problem was only one color i would say it was the drum units, but since u have a "rainbow" color problem then more than likey there are bad spots on the transfer belt and it isnt cleaning correctly
