Lexmark X642e

I have a Lexmark X642e I worked on the other day and it is making this thumping noise.I have read here and that seems to be the normal operation for it if printing on envelopes. I was wanting to know if there was a way to disable this feature.

it can be disabled or reduced in the menu settings. i think in the paper settings
