[Residual Man]

When receiving faxes this device wants to pull from the mp tray. I set the paper type on tray 1 to plain and it works fine for a bit,then will change on it's own to custom 6 and ask the user to load mp tray again. Printing and copying are both working normally. This only happens when receiving faxes. Any clues ?

this has been a common problem for us. settings get change by user error when printing or if the drivers are on a server they get changed. go into configuration mode (hold down 2 and 6 while powering on) there is option to "change prompts" or "paper prompts" or somthing to that extent. change to "use current" and the setting cannot be changed unless u go into paper settings after that
