    Post Lexmark 4226

    it won't print the top half the words, the lCD is highly garbled and I can't find any kind of service manuals

    You may find without Manuals

    The 4226 will need a printhead for sure. Possibly a ribbon if its worn and a display if the text is garbled. try Printer Toner Cartridges - Copier Toner Cartridges - Printer Parts & Copier Parts for the parts. Those are common parts.

    You need to replace LCD & Printhead.
    I think printhead pin cloud be broken.
    And replace new ribbon too.
