Hi there...I have an old c6501 that is pulling a c-2862 code....that means bad magenta patch... I have looked through so much of the machine- corona, developers, vacuum out the whole machine, clean the PGC sensor, check levels in i/o mode... made sure all the drums are spinning correct...done auto gamma adjustment, and color registration....I have check the transfer roller for being out of place....It always seems like it is just about to clear but then when I print...the c-2862 code comes back. I have run test sheets and magenta is a little bit splotchy....(sorry if this is not all technical language..I am just a printer and not a tech...) If any one has any knowledge of this old machine...please share the wealth. People say I am crazy to run this without a service contract...but that is just where I am at.
