Hi Tech 9. Many thanks for your help with clearing the fault codes on my Xerox machines. I previously had two scrap machines and I now have two being pre-prepared ready to go out. Do you see much of the Xerox product ? bob@copydoc.co.uk
Hello Tech9 Here is what happened. For some reason the black toner cartridge was spilling toner into copier everytime it rotates in the copier. I took out the cartridge and then took out the black developer housing and then not knowing what I was doing I tried to remove the three screws on top of the developer housing. after I put it back the code appeared. The same problem, (toner leaking) was happening to the yellow cartridge as well. I got two new developer housings for black and yellow and replaced it and it still would not get rid of the error 092-310. I finally got into the UI diagnostics mode. with the new housing units that I just ordered was a paper saying that I should reset some NVM locations to 0, which I did but it still does not work. I turned off and On the machine and still nothing works. Do you think that I need to order some parts for it to work? Thanks Screwdriver08
Hello tech9 Thank you for information about billing. I did all method for reseting before. i know that billing store in software dram and maybe in another module!because as you know drams must be reset when disconnect the battery from it. for discover at first I read entire information in NVM ram with mini programmer and compare two different exiting data for find billing memory line, i didn't find because there are many variable field in data. so i reprogram the NVM ram with blank buffer for test but nothing happened, just machine serial number clear. in second step i reset the software Dram by unplug the battery and nothing happened. so i think billing save in another module and when the machine come up after resetting the both memory module restore automatically from it to software Dram or NVM ram. like color machine that billing save in 3 module perhaps it maybe save in SIP PWB . I will be appreciative if you have an idea. Best Regards a.ghafari
