I agree, They are both the same machine. Same passwords and software and everything.
Because if you knew anything about copiers, instead of how to spam service manuals, you'd know this is a common practice.As for the OP's question, this machine has all Samsung software on it. So it is exactly like those Samsung machines.
To set up the 4550 to scan, you'll have to create a shared folder on your client's workstation and then go into the browser and set up the folder short cut under "scan to server".
Have you contacted Tech Support for assistance?
