    Can I get help here?

Hi, I'm Marie. I'm not a copytech but I have a Sharp 550U copier that I have to maintain on my own, so I'm learning! I tried to get back on a service contract but they say it's due for a PM, so they want $1,600 upfront. I'm opting instead for them to call me back on a $1,900 reconditioned machine... in the meantime, I'm going to run this one into the ground, but it's still such a good machine that I want to give it the longest life possible. I recently replaced the fuser rollers, but now I hear a loud obnoxious squeak... sounds like it's coming from the fuser unit area. But I greased the bearings. I was told not to grease the plastic gear so I didn't. Should I? Or what should I be looking at? Thanks!
