    Post Hello!

    I'm new here!
I've already posted a question but I'll introduce myself anyways...
I work for a small printing company in Indiana. We previously had a company come in for repairs to our Riso but they now say they don't work on Risographs anymore so now it seems to be my responsibility.
We have two that I'm trying to keep going so I can continue to print jobs (and therefore keep my job! ):
Riso RP 3700 and an older model GR 3750.
The RP 3700 just went down on me and I had swap parts from a spare drum we had for parts to get it back up and running again (Position A Detection Plate bent somehow and got into the Position A bracket bending it and breaking off the position A sensor). Never did figure out why or how?!? Everything seemed tight and I saw nothing out of the ordinary... Only thing I did notice is that the rear bearing must be bad on the backside of the "Flange Drive Gear R" as the drive gear flops around some! Can't tell if it's pressed in or not... Another question for another day. Trying to get the 3750 back up and running for a spare machine first!
Anyways, that's about it. Sorry for the long-winded intro!

    Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
