Real men fix things, they don't just through them away. I have been fixing cars, computers, TVs, appliances, forklifts, tools and anything else I have that gets broken. I hate the fact that we as a nation, seem to have devolved from that frontier spirit of backyard mechanics and self-reliant individuals, to a culture that often seems challenged to change a light bulb. I've joined other tech forums so I can continue to expand my knowledge of various technologies, how things work and how to fix them. Today, I was in my office running my 12 year old Imagistics 3511 copier/printer and the stapler crapped out giving me an error code F1-87. So, I logged onto my copytechnet.com account and was about to start looking for help when a message came up telling me I need to post something or my account might get deleted. Fair enough. This shouldn't be a one way street and its reasonable that members of this site should contribute to the information data base. For the moment, I'm not sure how I will contribute, but contribute I shall. In the meantime, if anyone has any bright ideas about my stapler problem or perhaps a tech manual that might help, I'd love to hear from you. "Kudos" to all who get their hands dirt and fix things!
