IT made me think, that techs from after the year 2000 have it compared to the 1st and earlier dry toner machines that us ole timers trudged thru.
I remember back to the early 80s doing a 6,000 COPY PM ON A Sharp copier,bunny brush and filter etc and later on the minolta EP 510s and EP 710S And
one would look like they came out of a coalmine...........

Yes, I remember 20K and 30K PM's on the Mita analogs. =^..^=

2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

how bout the electrostatic series mita 900d with the 2 big metal pressure rollers to press the dry toner to paper...........
That's a paper jam that's difficult to remove. I had 4 or 5 of those 900D's that I ran for personal use. I always knew when it was time to throw out the copies. They would turn brown and become illegible, just over time. =^..^=

if I remember correctly they made a heater strip mod to prevent humidity on the metal pressure rollers to keep paper from wrapping around them..
At that time I thought that was a solid design...Its funny because I remember hustling rolls of paper back then to make some side cash....
