I don't know why first time posters want firmware and SST. Most of them don't even know how to functionalize the utilities.

I going to throw my thoughs in on this also. I , as an indy , make sure that I can get the firmware before I take on the machine. That being said I believe machine makers should be required to post firmware along with drivers for seven years on their website. because they didn't have it right to start with it should be free to whomever owns the machine. I can't help in this case but I would if I could
