    Hey gang.

Just registered at the CTN forum after lurking for a couple of years.

I run a small shop in Oakland and have been KM guy for the last 10 years.

Worked my way through a CF2001, C350, C353, C450, and now a C5501. This forum seems like a great resource for someone like me: I'm pretty savvy and can perform basic adjustment and troubleshooting tasks to avoid downtime waiting for a KM tech. Never been formally trained though, all my insight has been from reading through service manuals, conversations with various techs over the years, and forums like this one.

Hopefully I'll be able to answer more questions around here than I ask

    Welcome Lewis! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Thumbs up Re: Hey gang.

Welcome aboard. Yes, Service manuals, they won't make you a tech, but they will make you a better tech.

    Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself
