ingenious idea, but unfortunately were having quite an issue finding a technician willing to come and help/service a machine of this age, hence why i am here utilizing the brilliance of the internet, online forums and peoples good willingness or lend some expertise advise to a complete stranger miles away.

So if you can point me in the direction of this qualified technician in Melbourne, Australia, i would be very grateful.

    thanks for the advise.

Number of Aussie's here. Don't know whether or not they work on Riso's. You would get a better response by posting on the appropriate forum on this site. This forum is the Newbie Check In. Not everyone reads this one that often. I might read it once or twice a week versus two or three times daily for technical forums for machines I have experience with.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
