    non-industry person looking for advice

Hi, I'm not a part of the copier industry but I would like to know if it's OK to ask a few questions of the gurus here relating to buying a second hand photocopier for a small, home based photography business.

My background is in industrial electrical maintenance, and I live in a small remote town in Australia.

    regards,

    Michael

    Welcome. Ask away. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

couple of things number one if you want a colour copier be very careful purchasing second hand .its not what you pay up front its what they cost for parts.

two don't buy inkjet machines for a business.i would suggest you look at the smart series from Kyocera most things that go wrong or need replacing can be done by yourself.
if you want to see these machines feel free to go to our web site at coastalbusiness.com.au

Thanks for the welcome everyone, not sure if you have seen my other post Laying copier over for road transport

Good to see a 'local' from Perth has chimed in, blsquires.

bl should understand the irony of calling a distance of 700km's 'local' :-)
