Sharp MX-M363N is not printing but will scan to email

    Hi Everyone,

I am using a Sharp MX-M363N MFP in my Domain environment. A couple of days ago it decided to stop printing, or our Windows Server (2003) decided to stop sending it print jobs.

Now whenever I attempt to print I see an error in the print queue -

Whilst print jobs are not getting through to the printer it is able to send scans by email, and I am able to access the printers configuration page through a web page.

I have updated the driver to the newest one available from the Sharp website (http://www.sharpusa.com/CustomerSupp...el=MX-C311&amp) however this has not helped.

Any further suggestions on how to get this printer going will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Davo

Are you really trying to print to a B/W copier with a color print driver?

    Hi All,

This was an issue with the Server. Something is not quite right about the Server's DHCP, and the addition of a standard TCP/IP port to the printers 'Ports' tab was the fix here.

The driver was never at fault, and the 'colour' driver works fine for B & W prints.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Davo

Glad you got it working, and it's nice to know about the driver for emergency's sake.
