Xerox PHASER 8560N / QUALITY AND BUILDUP IN WASTE STATION

    Hi
This is the first time I ever serviced a Phaser machine,I not sure if I should laugh or cry. I felt extremely limited only being able
to try the cleaning by way of the Light Strips test about 20 times. The customer is using GENUINE INKS .The color on the
Light Stripe Test page has 2 white lines at 192 and 216 in the Black Stripes Lines most obviously but I can tell it is slightly faded
in all the colors in that line path down the page(but only slightly). All the colors in line test print are on mark, but slightly off in the copyright at
the bottom of the page.sometimes it orange, sometimes more reddish.
The other problem I'm having is that in the waste station the waste toner (black in color)is building up rather quickly so it has to be emptied
every other day or waste would be so much the station would be stuck in the machine and difficult to pull out.The customer has had machine for a
number of years and is not doing anything different in terms of volume.
I am wondering if printhead needs to be replaced, but would this also explain extra waste in station building up quickly.
Thanks for looking and offering any help.

    Hi
just a follow up.The light faded part of the picture was because of the poor way I took picture from my phone. All colors were strong thruout the page in lines.
    Thanks Andy

It looks like jet 192 is masked so you can mask jet 216. The adjacent jets will compensate for the missing jets. As for the ink consumption if they are shutting down the machine or it is going to sleep it will use more ink during warm up to purge the print head. You could also check for leaks around the print head.

    Hi
Thanks for reply.with 192 masked line is still blank,so what effect will masking 192 have that is different? Also
what explains that the customer has to clean out waste station out every day are the buildup will be so much that
you can not get station out.
    Thanks Again Andy
