dell cn3100 - black void

Hello, I have a customer with a Dell CN3100. She replaced the toner and now something isnt right, there is a small void on the prints when it does print. I am thinking maybe some stray toner ended up on the laser's lens. Any input fella's?

Does anyone have access to a service manual for this machine, and could send it my way? I would greatly appreciate it.
