Printer gives 050-121 code. The pick up roll turns but paper never moves. I replaced the feed tires with no change. I tried different levels of paper in drawer. It seems as the paper isn't going up enough to contact feed tires.
Any suggestions ?

not sure on this model....

does it raise the supply plate via gearing on side

or

spring under plate?

if the later ...

remove plate and stretch the spring out more .. reinstall

Have seen this in the past. These trays are crap. All plastic.

You can try and put some grease on the gears on both sides of the trays to help it move more smoothly.

This cassette doesn't use a spring under the pan like other printers. It uses two gear mechanisms and latches on each side of the tray to smoothly lift the tray up to the pickup assembly.

I remember fixing an issue like this, but, I don't remember what I did.

Some major issues I've seen with these over the years:

Torn paper in the pickup assembly:
-- Take all consumables out of the printer and put it on its back. Easy access to the torn paper this way.

Broken no paper actuactor:
DC3760-W2, 3VTF3 - Dell C3760, C3765 Actuator No Paper, Flag Item Inc.

Rollers wear VERY quickly. The rollers in this model are similar to the 42xx series. They are used in many different models. RG399 - roller 3 pack.

Oh. Crossover is the Phaser 6600.
