Oki is (in Holland) normally very open when you ask for specific information, but some things are just too sensitive to release. When you know how to convert a normal machine into an ES-machine, they're in serious trouble.

someone knows language PJL for oki, seems that with it the ROM Flash can be written, can even also be read it

Hi guys. I have 100% successfuly made a ES3640 out of Xerox Phaser 7400 - it can be done. Takes a little more that 1 hous of rutine work but hey - if you're up for the challenge.
I can tell you now that changing E-prom info will not do it. There are physical differences and if you want to use ES series toners, better have a nice Phillips screwdriver, good parts source and thick wallet if you want to buy everything new. I wound up with (I was doing a swap from Oki with 1.6 million impressions in to Phaser that had near 200k)
LED writing heads, Engine control board, Formatter Board with HDD, some plastic fittings for OKI ES drums and that was it. I can supply entire set except HDD - PM me or Email UnlimitedBT@yahoo.com if interested.

i'm looking for an engine control board schematic as i have various issues with my one (oki 9655)
is there any site or anyone who can help me as i have various codes from this board (169-02) (072) i have checked these codes and parts on other machines (169= fuser thermistor tested fuser unit in working M/C and working fine) (072= eeprom tested on working board and working fine) is there anyone that is able to help
