Never try anything else than original supplies in this machines! BTW, you can not replace a drum and a blade separately...

I'm looking in the service manual right now, but there doesn't seem to be a way to manually reset the counter.

I've gone through this with Oki before. If the customer changes the All-In-One at 5%, the counter does not reset and must again be replaced when it reaches 0%. I have never been able to reset an All-In-One via any service mode. Most Oki's have a fuse which blows when the cartridge is inserted to reset the counter, while the power is On.

That might be the problem. Was the power On when you changed the cartridge?

Do yourself a favor. Buy a manual and read up on your problem before posting. I enjoy helping those that are willing to help themselves. =^..^=
