Epson DX 8500

I have 2 Epson dx 8500 printers at a customers site.
Both of these printer will intermitantly shutdown.
To fix them I have to pull the power cord for about 2 mins.

The intermitant time period is about 6 months between problems.
Has anyone seen this problem or even worked on these printers?
Does anyone have a good parts souce for this printer?
