Question Help! Samsung Scx 4216f

I have a Samsung SCX 4216f. The MFP has simply gone "dead". When the power is switched on after the copier has been "off" for a day or two, the toner light briefly flashes on for a second - then nothing again. My Technician says some problem with the power supply, but as it is build in to a circuit board he needs a SM to trace the faulty component. Any advise please?

Here in the US, we would normally only troubleshoot down the the board level so it was unusual to here someone going down the the component. I don't have a manual for you should be able to find something if you look around.

Good Luck

it's relevant if you are on 208 vac instead of 110 vac for power. Samsung makes both versions in many models, and they typically don't repair to component level they replace assemblies.
