    Samsung ML 2551N Laser Duplex Printer

    Printer does not boot . there is power as the display shows a faint squares on display. when you switch off you see motor slightly move ?

    Hi I could be wrong but I would suspect a power supply problem.

    i was thinking the same, i have heard this box is the same as a xerox 3450dn.
    so i take it the power supplies are interchangeable

    I also belive it to be power board failure, check the contact points on the board with your meter for correct voltage etc!!!! just to be certain...

    We had one that used two power supplies within 6 months. The customer turned down the second one. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
