Epson LQ 2190 impact printer, Auto tear off

This printer is brandnew. Problem is the Auto Tear Off function with tractor feeding.

When cutting off each printed sheet after a finished printjob, the next sheet is positioned properly at the right height in the startposition for a new print.

However, when printing several printjobs after each other, without cutting the sheets off first, the startposition is off around 5mm and adds up with every new sheet. This results in prints being way too far from the designated startposition.

The startposition can be easily corrected through the user menu but ofcourse not the difference between jobs immediately cut off or left in the chain as described above.

Any idea's?
