    xerox 6115 MFP (konica-minolta?)

((today I worked on a Konica Minolta 2550 color laser printer that is the exact same engine so I think this Xerox is acually a minolta engine))

This color MFP is used only as a copier and has started to give intermittant errors.

    -102H-

the scanner seems to only work intermittantly when used with the ADF feeder but works fine when originals are put on the glass.

I removed the duplexing unit as I kept finding it hanging off the printer on one side (although they don't use it)
and reportedly the 102H errors have stopped (or as least become less frequent) however they report that the copies are light, if they attempt to adjust the contrast even one click darker via the display panel the copies come out solid black.

I'm suspecting a bad scanner but don't have access to documenation on this machine.

anyone have any ideas or can tell me what that code indicates?
    Thanks

    Faulty Scanner Exposure Lamp

check that the engine control board and image processor board connectors are seated correctly.

    Then in order replace

    scanner unit
    engine control board
    image processor board

If you need the parts let me know and I'll see what I can do. Hope that helps
