Zebra P330i card printer with broken frame

I'd love to get my hands on the service manual for this, but even if noone here has one, maybe you can provide some advice.

A post snapped off of the plastic frame, so initially I thought it would be unrepairable. I did some searching and I can purchase the Center Frame (p/n 105912G-658). However, without the manual, I don't know if there what adjustments and calibrations may be required to move everything over to this new frame. I don't really want to open up a new can of worms trying to do this. Is it possible that Zebra has a retrofit kit to repair this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can disassemble right down to that small section of frame, I think I would take a shot at superglue to keep it in position, then smearing up the outer part with two-part epoxy. Let it cure completely for at least 24 hours before re-assembling.

I've had success with some of the small tabletop Brother machines when the posts have busted off. You'll have a total of perhaps 30 minutes into it, so not a great loss if it doesn't hold.

If you try it, let's see the pictures. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Have you tried this on this particular model before? That post holds a bracket that the ribbon tension spring is attached to, so there is some pretty significant force being applied to it.

(I found a refurbished printer that I'm selling them, so I don't see myself trying this, but thanks for the feedback!)

No, just a general observation. =^..^=
