Develop Ineo+ 25 - not installed toner error

Hi

I have a Develop Ineo+ 25 that is showing the error message not installed toner check ymc

I have tried replacing each toner individually including black

I have tried replacing image units individually

I have tried replacing mfpb


During my attempts i get different erros dependant on what I replace

for example I replaced the 3 toners above I got error cyan IU not installed.

I replaced cyan IU, i get error cyan and magenta IU not installed and so on

when 1 part is removed it shows the correct part being out but as soon as you put it back in it throws all errors

any ideas?

ah i forgot to mention

I tried upgrading the firmware, however there seemed to be an issue with that too - now I normally work on the olivetti version of this machine and am
assuming the firmware upgrade is the same. When i try it via connecting USB cable it says there is no device driver installed even though the machine is showing as available in the printer queue

I always update the firmware directly from a USB pen drive, rules out any "printer not installed" issues.

Another point to note the C25 & C35 toners are differant (image units same) i've seen the wrong toner sent out a few times, they fit OK but differant eg one has a chip the other doesnt etc also yours is a develop model & you using KM or + toners?

how do you get this firmware on a pen drive?

i have it as an exe file.


i have tried all - KM, develop and olivetti toners

Its the same .exe file, put them both on a USB drive, from service mode choose update firmware & point to your USB pen.
